Nano-Force®S highly conductive thermoplastic polymers are nanoengineered

Nano-Force®S products are a family of nanoengineered thermoplastic polymers developed for injection moulding and 3D printing applications. Nano-Force®S polymers have very high electrical conductivity and lower density compared to other conductive polymers on the market, while the mechanical properties are similar to base polymers.
NANO-TECH’S THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER
Nano-Force®S is a growing family of thermoplastic compounds with high electrical conductivity, engineered for a broad range of applications. Nano-Force®S polymers are designed to be used in injection molding, while the Nano-Force®S 3D family is composed of filaments compatible with most 3D printers on the market.
POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS
Nano-Force®S conductive polymers are designed for industrial applications where conductivity and weight reduction together contribute to improve the technical performance of components used in many different sectors. In particular, Nano-Force®S polymers are suitable for transmitting electrical signals in low power applications, for electromagnetic shielding and constructing electrostatic barriers.

SUPERIOR ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY
Nano-Force®S polymers have superior electrical conductivity when compared with conductive polymers already on the market based on different conductive fillers. This allows the design of lighter components, while controlling, for example, the static and magnetic environments of your products. This characteristic results in very light components that, in some cases, are suitable for replacing metals.
STABLE ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES
Nano-Force®S polymers have been engineered to maintain their electrical properties almost unaltered over time, overcoming a problem common in conventional metal-based conductive polymers.
LOWER DENSITY, BETTER WORKABILITY
–11% Density. Standard metal-based conductive polymers have higher densities compared to the base polymer due to high filler weight load. Nano-Force®S polymer density is similar to that of the base polymer, and lower than that of other conductive polymers currently on the market.
EXCELLENT MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Concurrent with excellent electrical properties, Nano-Force®S polymers maintain good mechanical properties, in line with the base polymer. Our nanoengineered polymers show mechanical values in line with other products while having superior electrical properties
HIGHER SERVICE TEMPERATURE
+13% service temperature. Nano-Force®S polymers have an average service temperature 13% higher than the base polymer. As a result, Nano-Force®S polymers can be used in a wider temperature range compared to other available conductive polymers

EXCELLENT MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
We used Nano-Force®S polymer technology to develop a family of 3D printing filaments with high electrical conductivity.
Nano-Force®S 3D filaments are unique thanks to our broad know-how in plastic material processing and the nanotechnological materials that confer high electrical conductivity to the final 3D printed object, while preserving great mechanical properties.
One of our innovative 3D printing filaments consists of a conductive elastomeric 3D print filament. The Nano-Force®S 3DTPU filament allows for 3D printing of objects with consistent electrical conductivity, as is typical of semiconductor materials. At the same time, the 3D printed object retains optimal elasticity and mechanical properties, meeting a wide range of industrial and prototyping needs.
