Nano-Force®E resins have superior mechanical properties, such as resistance, rigidity and toughness that solve specific technological problems and improve final product performance. Thanks to the homogeneous dispersion of nanoparticles, Nano-Force®E products are stronger than traditional epoxies. A higher traction and compression resistance of the epoxy translates into better performance of the final composite structure, which undergoes less deformation and damage over time, thus resisting wear.

REPAIR EFFICIENCY

An independent research study carried out by researchers from the Republic Polytechnic of Singapore and Newcastle University in Singapore shows that the repair efficiency of existing composite structures using Nano-Force®E 100 resin is much higher than that of other epoxy resins and healants on the market.

Nano-Force®E resins change their viscosity in response to the amount of force applied, a unique property called pseudoplastic behaviour. They have excellent fluidity, allowing efficient impregnation off all fibre types, while significantly reducing drippings and waste compared to traditional epoxy resins. Thanks to their unique rheological properties, Nano-Force®E resins can be used for repairs without thixotropic fillers. We used Nano-Force®S polymer technology to develop a family of 3D printing filaments with high electrical conductivity.

Nano-Force®S 3D filaments are unique thanks to our broad know-how in plastic material processing and the nanotechnological materials that confer high electrical conductivity to the final 3D printed object, while preserving great mechanical properties.

One of our innovative 3D printing filaments consists of a conductive elastomeric 3D print filament. The Nano-Force®S 3DTPU filament allows for 3D printing of objects with consistent electrical conductivity, as is typical of semiconductor materials. At the same time, the 3D printed object retains optimal elasticity and mechanical properties, meeting a wide range of industrial and prototyping needs.

Nano-Force®E epoxies repair microcracks and fractures better than other epoxy resins on the market.

A team of researchers from Republic Polytechnic of Singapore in collaboration with Newcastle University in Singapore used Nano-Tech’s Nano-Force®E 100 epoxy resins in an independent study to test and validate a new procedure to repair micro-fractures in existing composites aerostructures. Nano-Force®E 100 epoxy system was tested for its efficiency in healing micro-fractures together with a number of other commercially available products and healants.

Nano-Force®E 100 achieved a repair efficiency of 81.4%, against a range of 3.8 -17.4% of other leading products, confirming Nano-Tech products as leaders in the market of epoxy resins.
